I went into town just now to print some photos for mysterious purposes. A4 is the right size, and at 0.8 Ls each, the price is reasonable.

I had them printed at Smaids (smile), then stopped by Vesma for lunch.

By the way, I’m amazed at how polite and attractive the girls working in these places are. You just talk to them and feel happy to be alive.

Smaids, incidentally, has a huge photo printer capable of printing 60x100. But one print costs 18 Ls—too much, if you ask me.

Mono 2.2 – flight successful

With some minor difficulties, but I upgraded Mono on the server with izvne.com from trunk to 2.2. All of NeatUpload's features started working, which is really cool – the progress bar used to glitch out before. So there will soon be a file upload page, and it'll be even better than the one on the old site vladekk.izvne.com.

I should check – what if those Mono bugs I fixed in my BlogEngine.Net blog engine were related to the fact that Mono was installed from trunk, rather than being a release version?

Circular Saw and Hot Dog

A safety system for a circular saw. My grandfather, by the way, nearly cut off his thumb with a saw like this, but they managed to reattach it. The creator of this safety system tested it on his own finger, and it was shown on TV.
